Refund Policy

Because every Northern Watch Lab build is confirmed and assembled to order, refunds and returns are handled on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion, rather than as an automatic guarantee. Here's how it generally works.

Before Assembly Begins

You can cancel your order for a full refund at any time before we begin assembling your build. Since we don't start work until payment is received via your Stripe link, this mainly applies in the short window right after payment if you change your mind — just message us as soon as possible.

Once Assembly Has Begun

Once a build has entered assembly, materials and labor are committed to your specific configuration, so custom orders are treated as final sale from that point on. Exceptions — including manufacturing defects covered by our 1-year warranty — are reviewed individually and approved at our sole discretion.

Returns After Delivery

Unworn, undamaged pieces may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. This is not a no-questions-asked guarantee — every request is reviewed on its own merits, and whether a return is accepted, along with any restocking or return-shipping cost, is decided at our discretion.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your watch arrives with a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and your order details. We'll review the situation and may offer a repair, replacement, refund, or return-shipping reimbursement, at our discretion.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are issued back to the original Stripe payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
