No. Northern Watch Lab is an independent custom horology studio. We craft bespoke timepieces using high-grade aftermarket 904L steel cases, custom dials, sapphire crystals, and authentic Japanese Seiko (TMI) automatic movements. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any OEM luxury brand.
Standard watches typically use 316L steel. 904L is a higher-tier surgical steel containing increased levels of chromium, nickel, and copper. This gives the watch enhanced corrosion resistance, a heavier feel in the hand, and a distinct, high-luster finish when polished.
We strictly use authentic Japanese Seiko NH series automatic calibers (NH34 GMT, NH35 Date, NH36 Day-Date, NH38 Open Heart). These workhorse movements are renowned worldwide for their accuracy, durability, 41-hour power reserve, and ease of long-term serviceability.
Every build is hand-assembled, rate-tested, and quality-inspected to order. From the day you confirm your build and payment is received, expect delivery in approximately 12–16 days, tracking included.
